Any Other Colorado Moms Frustrated??

This week has been such a headache with the new bill being so close to passing that it’s almost impossible for it not to pass! I am one of those homeschool moms who likes the security that an umbrella school provides. However, I also started my first homeschooler in a publicly funded enrichment program. Now my youngest is supposed to start her first year at this program and she is thrilled! My oldest has best friends and favorite teachers and most importantly, she has grown through multiple anxiety struggles there and that is where she is comfortable now. I myself am a crazy introvert and I actually have women I get along with there and have even expressed interest in joining their PTO board.

I hear so many horror stories about cps coming after homeschool families and that was originally why I signed up under the umbrella school. I don’t want my kids to be subjected to the CDE’s every whim. I could move them to a private enrichment but I worry that my oldest will struggle leaving her friends and teachers and starting somewhere new. I feel like I’m in a no win scenario here. Any other mamas feeling the same way?
